Driveway Cleaning Services offers our customers a three tier process and price structure. Customers can choose the level to which they would like their driveway or patio restored and therefore the price that they are charged.

Driveway Cleaning Services would recommend the Sealer finish to your driveway, as it will enhance the overall look of the competed driveway or patio, but more importantly, it will protect the cleaning process from further dirt ingress to the block paver bricks.

Options to undertake only the machine scrub and jet wash are also available and this can be discussed with our team when you call. We do however have a minimum callout charge for the attandance of our team, if you do not take up the full cleaning package.

Procedure

Day 1 - (Size of driveway dependent)

* ARRIVAL - The Team arrives at appointed time and location. Meets the client and surveys the area of agreed work and discusses the timescales and procedures of task.

* INSPECTION - A full surface inspection is carried out to ensure that any defective block pavers are identified prior to commencement of the task.

Such defects are pointed out to the client and replacements, in most cases, can be arranged, or replacement options identified.

* SCRUBBING - The Team commences machine scrubbing and removing surface residues, lichen and moss.

* STAIN AND DISCOLOURED BRICKWORK TREATMENT - Oil spills and other such stains or discolourations will be treated prior to the commencement of the Jet Foam Degreasent procedure. This will ensure that the complated driveway will have a uniform finish and look as close to the standard of the original quality.

* JET FOAM DEGREASING AND CLEANSING - Proprietary, non invasive and environmentally approved cleaning materials are used at all times throughout the procedure. Block paver, brickwork and stone materials, as agreed with the Client, will be jet washed and thoroughly rinsed, in order to remove all debris and cleansing residues.

* DRYING PROCESS - In order to provide the best environment for the sand infill work to commence, and so that the Sealer achieves the very best effect, the driveway is left to dry thoroughly.

Day 2 - (Size of driveway dependent)

* SAND INFILL - Over time the sand infill between the block pavers becomes eroded. The sand is very important as it forms a bond and a cushion between the engineered, high quality, bricks. Without this cushion the bricks will begin to move out of place causing bumps and dips in the driveway. Replacing the sand and ensuring that the "cushion" is in place, prior to the Sealer being applied, is paramount to ensuring that driveway condition lasts for as long as possible.

* SEALER APPLICATION - The surface is re-inspected and when the Team are satisfied with the condition the approved Sealer solution is applied in 2 coats, allowing the first to dry thoroughly before the second, and final coat, is applied. This procedure can take up to 4 hours to complete depending on the weather conditions and humidity.
